International Conference on Informatics for Development 2011

Call for Papers

ICID is a forum for debating all aspects on the use of ICT for improving people's quality of life. This conference is also a meeting place for those interested in understanding the human and social implications of technology in general and ICT in particular, not only at systems level but also at specific level, for example, human-machine interaction (accessibility issues).

ICID encourages authors to submit papers to one of the main topics indicated below, describing original work, including conceptual/theoretical works, methods, techniques, prototypes, applications, tools or survey papers, reporting research results and/or indicating future directions. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference by ne of the authors and published in the proceedings. Acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality. There will be both oral and poster sessions.

The proceedings will be indexed by several major international indexers. Special sessions are also welcome. Please contact the secretariat for further information on how to propose a special session. The topics include but not limited to:

Riset Terapan dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Produktivitas dan Daya Saing Industri Nasional

Perkembangan Ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi pada era globalisasi ini, menuntut para industri meningkatkan dan mengembangkan mutu dan kualitas produksinya. Terkadang pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi membutuhkan investasi yang besar, sehingga dibutuhkan riset dan teknologi terapan yang dapat memberikan added value bagi industri. Agar riset dan teknologi berkembang diperlukan sinergi antara peneliti dan praktisi (industri) untuk dapat menghasilkan teknologi tepat guna yang terintegrasi. Jurusan Teknik Elektro, Politeknik Negeri Jakarta memberikan kontribusi untuk menyelenggarakan Seminar Nasional SNTE 2011 sebagai wadah pertemuan ilmiah para praktisi industri, peneliti, dan akademisi.
Seminar Nasional SNTE 2011 diharapkan dapat meningkatkan peran serta dalam pemupukan sikap ilmiah dan profesionalisme di kalangan sivitas akademika, dan dapat diimplementasikan untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan teknologi terapan bagi industri, sehingga mendukung peningkatan produktivitas dan daya saing industri seiring dengan tuntutan perkembangan teknologi industri di bidang Listrik, Elektronika, Telekomunikasi, Informatika dan Komunikasi khususnya, serta peningkatan program pembangunan nasional pada umumnya.

Tujuan

Tujuan Seminar Nasional Teknik Elektro 2010 ini adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Menumbuhkan sikap inovatif, kreatif serta tanggap terhadap perkembangan IPTEK.
2. Menjadi forum komunikasi hasil penelitian terapan terbaru Teknik Elektro antar Praktisi Industri, Peneliti, Akademisi dan Mahasiswa.

Seminar Nasional dan Expo Teknik Elektro 2011 (SNETE 2011) adalah forum penyajian perkembangan terbaru dan hasil-hasil penelitian bidang teknik elektro yang mencakup teori, eksperimen, dan aplikasi bidang teknik elektro. SNETE 2011 akan menjadi ajang pertemuan para akademisi dan praktisi dalam bidang teknik elektro dari seluruh Indonesia, terutama bagian barat.

SNETE 2011 akan diadakan pada tanggal 24 Oktober 2011 di Gedung AAC Dayan Dawood, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, Propinsi Aceh.
