2nd International Conference on Advanced Design and Manufacturing Engineering (ADME 2012) will be held during August 24~August 26, 2012 in Taiyuan(China), it is sponsored and supported by Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, China, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, HK, University of Nottingham, UK, Chinese University of Hongkong, HK and other non-profit organizations.

As is well known to us all, Design, manufacturing and automation technology plays a more and more important role in industry advancing now, The conference is aimed at reporting up-to-the-minute innovations and developments, summarizing the state-of-the-art, and providing an international forum to exchange ideas for the domestic and foreign scholars and experts from many areas such as:

Digital Manufacturing/Advanced Manufacturing, Material Science and its Application,

Mechatronics and Intelligent robots

Deep sea Mining Equipments

Complex Equipment Design and Extreme Manufacturing

Intelligent control and Detection Technology

All accepted papers will be published on international journal "Applied Mechanics and Materials" and will be indexed in the major academic databases, including EI Compendex, Thomson ISI (ISTP), and other indexing services.
